 Day 1. Zhangjiajie
 Arrive in Zhangjiajie, a warm welcome from your guide and driver, transfer to the hotel in the city -
Day 2. Zhangjiajie/Dehang
 4-hour Drive to Dehang from Zhangjiajie city, In a seductive riverine setting overlooked by towering, other-worldly karst peaks, the Miao hamlet of Dehang(admission ￥60) to the northwest of Jishou in western Hunan province offers a tantalizing spectrum of treks into picturesque countryside. Rising into columns, splinters and huge foreheads of stone, the local karst geology climbs over verdant valleys layered with terraced fields and flushed by clear streams. Sidestepping the bovine traffic and the occasional cowpat could be the only thing distracting your eyes from the gorgeous scenery.The village itself has been partially dolled up for domestic tourism, but on its fringes the feeling survives of a pleasant riverside minority Miao village where wood-constructed and highly affordable hotels turn Dehang into an inexpensive and alluring retreat. Avoid the inauthentic, tourist-crowded-oriented Dehang Maiozhai (德夯苗寨) hub where evening shows are staged, and keep to the narrow lanes and riverside views of the old village leading to the arched Jielong bridge (接龙桥；Jielong qiao), where old folk decked out in blue-clothed Miao outfits and bamboo baskets cluster and cows and water buffalo wander quietly around chewing the cud. Occasional Maoist slogans from the cultural revolution make an appearance, old men thread together baskest from strips of bamboo and Miao weavers sit hunched over mills, creating colourful cloth for attractive cotton jackets. -
Day 3. Day 4. Fenghuang
 2-hour drive to Fenghuang ancient city (admission ￥168), In a round the clock siege from Chinese tourist- the Taiping of the modern age- this fascinating riverside town of ancient city walls and gate towers, houses on the stilts overlooking the river and hoary temples dotted about the old town can easily fill a couple of days. Home of a lively population of the Miao(苗) and Tujia (土家) minorities, Strolling willy-nilly is the best way to see Fenghuang. Many of the back alleys in the old town maintain an intriguing charm, a treasure trove of old family pharmacists, traditional shops, temples, ancestral halls and crumbling dwellings. Restored fragments of the city wall lie along the south bank of the Tuo River in the old town and a few dilapidated chunks survive elsewhere. -
Day 5. Furong Town
 Drive to Mengdong River/Furong Ancient Town, Furong (Hibiscus) Town is originally named Wangcun. It is an ancient town where Tujiazu people live together. Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house ( mainly Diaojiaolou ) are well preserved. The famous movie Furong Town directed by Xiejin is shot here. At Furong Town, you must take the local specialty, “rice tofu.”It is said that the most genuine shop is in the vicinity of torii. That shop is the rice tofu shop in the movie.The scenery in the town has unique bearing. Shops with trap doors are on the both sides of five-mile street of black flagstone. Tujia Diaojiaolou (stilted house) are set up against the slope. The simple bearing of Tujiazu is very charming. In the Warring States Period, “Xizhou Copper Pillar” set as a war covenant made between the emperor of Chu, Maxifan and the King of headman remains as before. On “Xizhou Copper Pillar”, key cultural relic under state protection, more than 2300 characters are inscribed, the covenant of dismissing troops and reconciling made between the emperor of Chu, Maxifan and the King of headman in 940 A.D. is recorded. It is a precious object data of studying nation relation in ancient China. Besides, there is Wangcun waterfall which is about 60 meters high and 70 meters wide here. Walking behind the hanging screen of the waterfall is like placing oneself in a crystal palace.-
Day 6. Mengdong river rafting
 Rafting in Mengdong river, Forty kilometers from Furong (Hibiscus) Town is a famous drifting site on the Mengdong River, reputed to be the worlds No. 1 spot for whitewater rafting. -
The river snakes along the deep gorge for more than 100 kilometers. The 17-kilometer drift site is along the rivers upper stream section, where cascades and caves can be seen everywhere. -
Along the route, you can hardly see any indications of modern civilization. Everything seems like what it would have been 1,000 years ago. If you are familiar with some stories about ancient China, you can easily recall them when you are in this gorge. -
More often, the stones and caves along the river will trigger your imagination. You can see a dog, turtle or the faces of humans in them. Actually, the name Mengdong means fierce caves in Chinese, a metaphorical way of describing the stones and caves such as these which embody the magic and mystery of nature.
It is said that more than 190 kinds of animals currently inhabit the gorge along the river. If you are lucky enough, rare animals like monkeys may appear on the shores. Day 7. Yaozizhai
 Hiking in Yaozizhai, little-visited mountain in Zhangjiajie, Yaozizhai is the best place which is quiet and has fantastic scenery -professional photographer picture- shooting base. Hiking in Yaozizhai is really a lot of fun: the ecological environment at this summit is outstanding, possessing an abundance of ancient trees, some more than 1000 years old. What’s more, scores of birds nest in these trees. Now, if a bird egg just happens to tumble down right on your head, please don’t lose your temper, consider it a kind of “natural joy”, unavailable in many other tourist spots, right? (prepare some food, water and fruits for your picnic) after breakfast, 15-minute walk from Pipaxi hotel to the entrance, starting point to Yaozizhai is Laomuwang ,walk 2.3km to the top of the mountain, take a big loop around the mountain top for 2 hours, in the afternoon go to the other side of the mountain for attractions in eagle’s beak and natural arch,explore for 2 hours, then walk down the mountain the same way back. Zhangjiajie admission ￥248 for 3 days. -
Day 8. Golden whip stream/Yuanjiajie

With a length of 7.5 kilometers, Golden Whip Stream is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable paradise for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. Then too, this place is a kingdom fit for various fauna-birds, fish and land animals. Such comparable scenic poetry is only to be found in fairy tales. Indeed, someone has aptly remarked: It is a stream of bright watercolor painting, and a creator of ancient legends. To many other observers, Golden Whip Stream is a stream at once unique and mysterious, producing astonishment in the hearts of those fortunate enough to tour its wonders.
Yuanjiajie-world natural heritage site, as a Hollywood photographer spent time shooting there in 2008. ‘Avatar’ Makes Its Mark on China’s Zhangjiajie, Floating Hallelujah Mountains featured in Hollywood blockbuster Avatar” ,the prototypes in Zhangjiajie，grand and tactile forest landscape,it seems vertiginously suspended with sky above and chasms below. -
Day 9. Yangjiajie
 Hiking in Yangjiajie, take park bus to Wulongzhai, full day exploration in Tianbofu,Balipo,Yibudongtian,one-step-to -heaven ,Kongzhongzoulang-corridor in the air.Yangjiajie abuts on Zhangjiajie in the east and Tianzi mountain in the north, covering 34 square km. it consists of three parts: Xiangzhistream, Longquan valley and Baihouvalley , in which there are altogether over 200 scenic spots. At Xiangzhi stream, one sees undulating peaks extending into the distance and limpid brooks winding along the deep gullies, and hears birds and cicadas singing in the dusk along the ancient roads, it is a land of peace indeed! Longquan valley is characterized by precipitous cliffs. They form a natural defense that looks like huge ancient city walls.Baihou (hundred monkeys) valley, on the other hand, is a home of monkeys haunts the valley, and flocks of egrets rest among the green trees -
Day 10. Tianzishan mountain
 Hiking in Tianzishan, Tianzi mount in the north section of the reserve, is another popular expedition, also served by cable car. As is the custom, every rock,crag and gully has been given a fanciful name. Take park bus to Tianzishan, do sightseeing in Shen-tangwan,Helong park,Yubifeng,after finishing sightsee-ing on the top of the Tianzishan mountain, begin to take a trail downward the mountain from the Tianzi pagoda, you go through Yueliangya ,Wolongling lying dragon ridge , Shilihualang ten-li picturesque gallery ,finally you come to mini train station, and take park bus to Wulingyuan entrance. -
Day 11. Tianmenshan Mountain

Tianmenshan Mountain is uniquely skyscraping and domineering. Tianmen cave the natural mountain-penetrating karst cave with the highest elevation in the world, hangs on the towering cliff. The cave become the unique sight under heaven and breeds the profound and grand heaven culture of Fairy Mountain in the local area. Tianmenshan Mountain is the second national forest park in Zhangjiajie. On the mountaintop are intact sub-primitive forests with overflowing wild atmosphere in all the seasons. In addition, the densely populated karst hillocks and karrens plus the mating of strange rocks and graceful trees create a grand garden of bonsai as if blessed by the God. Tianmenshan Mountain Temple, with an area of over 10000 square meters, has been honored as a pilgrimage site ever since the Ming Dynasty. It is the Buddhist center of Western Hunan. The six unresolved mysteries in the past hundreds of years such as Opening of Tianmen cave, shadow of Guigu(famous ancient Toaist), and Auspicious Unicorn have added the mysterious and elusive atmosphere for Tianmenshan Mountain. Some grand events held in Tianmenshan Mountain, in 1999 international stunt plane flying through the Tianmenshan cave openning draw worldwide attention, 1n 2010, Freddy Rock, a tightrope walker from Switzerland, and Saimaiti Aishan, the seventh-generation Dawazi (high-wire) stuntman from Chinas Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region competed in speed, distance and difficulty of high wire walking. Day 12. Maoyan river/Tujia folk garden

If we suppose Golden Whip Stream is a gentle and tender lady, then, by sharp contrast, Maoyan River is a wild young girl with bare feet and unkempt hair. The water scenery in this place is of the most primitive and uncontrolled kind. Sometimes it flows placidly within a wild area; at other time, it advances wave upon wave, surging with great force. She is so vivacious, so natural, that we cant resist her attraction and the lure to possess her. Once you dance with the wave of the Maoyan River, you will be unable to forget this experience for the rest of you life. Not in the Three Gorges, however, the Maoyan River surpasses the beauty of the Three Gorges. With an area of over 5 hectares, Tujia Folk Custom Park (admission ￥120) is a large-scale cultural tourist attraction, which is mainly built on old basis to demonstrate Tujia peoples folk custom in various aspects such as architecture, food, agriculture, military art etc. Most of the buildings in Zhangjiajie Tujia Folk Custom Park are constructed with wood and stone with the characteristics of carved girder and painted columns, upturned eaves, especially the exquisite workmanship and ingenious construction are greatly acclaimed by the tourists. -
Day 13. Yellow dragon cave/Baofeng lake

In the morning attractions in Yellow Dragon Cave, The Yellow Dragon Cave has four layers and covers an area of about 20 square kilometers. With a vertical height up to 100 meters, the cave is composed of one storage, two streams, three waterfalls, four pools, 13 platforms and 46 corridors, as well as countless stalagmites. -
Among all stalactites in the Yellow Dragon Cave, the most miraculous are Ding Hai Shen Zhen (sea-calming needle) and Long Wang Bao Zuo (Dragon King’s Throne). Ding Hai Shen Zhen stands 19.2 meters high at a diameter of 10 cm. In 1998, Ding Hai Shen Zhen is insured for the value of one hundred million yuan. -
 In the afternoon attrations in Baofeng lake,Baofeng Lake is a veritable place of graceful mountains and charming waterway and for all the kind ,good gracious and wise people. Baofeng Lake is such a paradise that you would like to visit again and again, whether you have been here or not. Located in the high gorges, a body of crystalline and calm water is surrounded by the emerald mountains. The lake is situated part way up the mountain range, 85 meters above the ground, and attains an altitude of 585 meters. Because of its association with the Baofeng Mountain Range, the lake bears the name of Baofeng. Day 14. Zhangjiajie grand canyon/Jiangya hot spring

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon situated in Sanguansi, cili county Zhangjiajie city, 10 km east to Wulingyuan world natural heritage site, which is a new discovery of scenic site. When driving close to the entrance a expanse of bamboo disappear, you find a deeply lower Valley with cutting-edge cliffs.a hill path cutting through narrow crevice leads vertically to the bottom of the valley, the area is about 60 square km.
Jiangya mountain valley was revered by Native as a place of neutrality where all tribes could bathe in peace. In 1980 Government set aside Jiangya natural hot springs site as national conservation, making Hot Springs National Park the protected area in the national park system. Until the advent of modern medicine in the late 1980s, visitors from around the world flocked to the natural hot springs to bathe in its healing thermal waters. .
Day 15.Zhangjiajie/Departure .
In the morning have relaxing time, in the afternoon transfer to Zhangjiajie airport to end happy tour.
